Carbon Dioxide Fire Protection

Whether your hazard may be a pit or a local application type system, Carbon Dioxide can produce satisfactory results when the time comes. Using the local application system for presses, conveyor belts, machining shops and other arrangements can be quite rewarding.

When your hazard requires the fire suppressant to get into those small areas and flood the room, CO2 can also result in a successful discharge and extinguish fires rapidly and safely when the area is not occupied.

When an area is occupied, a time delay for the CO2 system can be utilized to give any operators or occupants to exit the hazard area before discharge. Supervised lockout valves are also used in these systems so maintenance can be performed routinely and safely.
